Acolytes
Epiphany's Acolyte Ministry is open to all young people beginning at fifth grade through 12th grade. Led by Cheri Blackwell, Jennifer Tucker and Wren Blackwell, the Acolytes of Epiphany are dedicated youth who perform a valuable service in our worship life. The acolyte-training program provides our teens with an excellent background in the meaning of worship and the symbols of the Church. The group meets once a month for a social activity and in October, the acolytes take part in the National Acolyte Festival held at the National Cathedral in Washington D.C.
Confirmation Class
Each fall Epiphany's Rector forms a Confirmation Class which is open to young people in the 6th grade or older. The class meets at the church on the 2nd & 3rd Sunday evenings of the fall months from 5:00-7:00 PM. Topics covered include "Who is Jesus?," the Bible, the Prayer Book, the Sacraments, Christian Belief, The Church & Church Symbols, Christian Living, Prayer, and New Life in God's Church. The course concludes with Confirmation in early January.
Youth Group
A youth ministry committee plans monthly programs.
Music Ministries
Anita Williams, the Music Director/Organist, welcomes all young people into the various choirs and music groups of the church. These include the Adult Choir, Bell Choir, Ensemble Choir, and Folk Choir.
