Am I Welcome at Epiphany?
You most certainly are! Some in our congregation have been members here all of their lives, others are new to the church and new to the Episcopal tradition. Regardless, everyone is welcome at Epiphany. Can I Take Communion?
Every person who has been baptized into the Christian faith is welcome to receive communion at Epiphany. There is no membership requirement and no age limit.
Where is a Nursery or Crib Room?
The Nursery and Crib Room is located just off the hallway to the new addition, next to the Office. It is staffed by responsible, trusted volunteers from the parish family. The Nursery is open from 10:15-11:45 on Sundays. Infants - 2 year olds are welcome.
Does every New Person Struggle Keeping Up with the Service?
Most people who are new to the Episcopal Church have a hard time following the service at first. Relax, no one is "watching" you to see if you make a "mistake." After a few Sundays it will all fall into place. The service is found in the red Prayer Book. The bulletin will help you find your way and from time to time the priest will let you know what page we are on. Most hymns are found in the Blue Hymnal. LEVAS is short for Lift Every Voice and Sing. It is the red and black book.
Do You have Other Questions?
Feel free to speak with our interim Rector (who you may call "Charles"), an Usher, or even the person sitting next to you. We are a friendly group and we're glad you are here!
